2010 Cisco Networkers Live! -- Mandalay Bay / MGM Grand / Las Vegas NV (added 7/3/2010)

Well, another Cisco Networkers Live conference, this time in Las Vegas. The Customer Appreciation Event was not quite as good as some of the previous ones.

Food was only snack food and seemed to be geared more towards drinking than anything else. Cisco stop doing this! They had several impersonation people, like Elvis, Tina Turner, Garth Brooks and Madonna.

But the highlight of the night wasn't Smashmouth, but was band that was AWESOME! They played a lot of 70's songs from Queen, The Who, Daivid Bowie, Led Zeplin and more, great band, the band was The Ultrasonic Rock Orchestra! -- OUTSTANDING!

2010 Trip to the Hoover Dam and the South Rim of the Grand Canyon (added 7/3/2010)

Here is a short little jaunt Ray and I took from Las Vegas to the Hoover Dam and onto the south rim of the Grand Canyon. The Hoover Dam was really cool, what we saw of it. It would have been better if there wasn't so much contruction going on and if we were able to actually see the front of it. Oh well, something to look forward to next year. The bus ride from there to the Grand Canyon was, well, LONG. I am thinking 4 or more hours maybe? Once we got there it was breathtaking to say the least. I have some REALLY nice photos of the place and a couple stunning panoramics!

2010 Trip to the Las Vegas Strip (added 7/3/2010)

We walked down the Las Vegas strip the last night we were there and took some cool shots of the bizzaar happenings in Vegas. I have to say, a lot of strange things. Some really good shots of the water show at the Billagio, that was very cool. Some shots with the dress up folks too, Batman, Superman and a Starwars Storm Trooper. Weather was great, only 103 that day!

2010 Trip to Australia, Sydney Harbor/bridge, Sydney Opera House and Watson's Bay (added 4/22/2010)

Here are some great pictures from Sydney Australia. A lot of photos of the Sydney Harbor bridge (Sydney Harbour bridge), the Sydney Opera House and photos from top the Sydney Tower. There are also some great photos of Sydney Harbor (Sydney Harbour) and pictures from Watson's bay off of South Head looking west back on Sydney and east on the Pacific ocean. Weather forecast was 80% rain on both Saturday and Sunday. Glad the weather forecasters here are just as accurate as they are at home. So basically, sunburns for all!
