2010 Trip to the Hoover Dam and the South Rim of the Grand Canyon Here is a short little jaunt Ray and I took from Las Vegas to the Hoover Dam and onto the south rim of the Grand Canyon. The Hoover Dam was really cool, what we saw of it. It would have been better if there wasn't so much contruction going on and if we were able to actually see the front of it. Oh well, something to look forward to next year. The bus ride from there to the Grand Canyon was, well, LONG. I am thinking 4 or more hours maybe? Once we got there it was breathtaking to say the least. I have some REALLY nice photos of the place and a couple stunning panoramics!
